Im not going to get this game, infact I've never even heard of it, but the top pick makes there body look oddly shaped... whereas on the bottom she looks more normal shaped. Maybe thats the reason for the change?

I find it funny that a woman can breastfeed her kids, which means her kids get to see boobs, and then for the next like 17 years the kid can't see what they were looking at for the first months of their life.

Also changing something for US culture? We have Jerry Springer and they're worried about a little cleavage causing outrage? Yeah I'm outraged that they'd censor something so stupid.

Censoring cleavage is stupid. I see far more cleavage on real life woman from time to time. Do they think if a little boy sees cleavage he'll grow up to be a serial rapist. At worst he'd have a boob fetish and what guy doesn't. Am I right or am I right?

Wait, Samurai Warriors 3 came out in Europe?

WHEN!?
I just checked and it came out in May. Strange that I haven't seen it in stores, but I noticed that it's only for the Wii so that's probably why. Way to limit your base guys. =_=

Is it strange that while looking at those images, an advert popped up, wherein Kontraband offered me an issue of 'Monkey', featuring a rather large pair of uncovered breasts?
Sorry my bad, didn't happen to me. I'll take it down.

I actually think the bottom one looks better.
I do too. However, this censorship issue is just unbelievable. Or it would be, if you weren't talking about the USA. That bible-belt seems to be widening at an unprecedented rate.

Basically Americans like violence but shy away from sexual content. A game can be as bloody, gory, and violent as you can make it but if it shows so much as a nipple people freak out.
Basically people like to generalize all Americans. I may only have lived here my entire life but what I find is people don't shy away from sexual content, they shy away from sexual content in what is still considered a 'kid's medium' even though it's not... well, not always.

Gee, with teenage pregnancy rates and STDs on a steady rise I wonder why people could be so stupid as to be concerned about an over-sexualized youth. What idiots. So depressing.

I can guarantee you video game cleavage is not the cause, but that doesn't mean some concern isn't valid.

I don't mind :p I was pointing out the irony. Right as I read how people cover shoulders, I get a pair of boobs. Heheh.

I have lived here my entire life too and you can look at any medium for evidence of my statements. Movies : There are countless violent movies that are rated PG 13, but as soon as a boob is shown it becomes rated R. Television : Wrestling, though fake violence is still violent. It is rated PG and the sexual content has been vastly toned down from previous eras when it was rated PG 13. I'm not saying all Americans are like that but those in charge of censoring our media are, which is what this particular discussion is about.

I hate to point this out, but will it even matter at all? Seriously, it's Samurai Warriors 3. Is anyone looking forward to this?
I would be, if they had released it on the right console! =[

You must not watch the same movies I do. PG13 can have plenty of 'fake violence' in the same way it has plenty of 'fake sex', but the moment you get into real gore and real nudity it goes to an R rating. I can't really recall a PG13 movie that had any really violent content in it, though I am pretty sure I've seen boobs in one.

Of course, this is all depending upon your definition of really violent... Jaws was PG13 but I don't consider that really violent, it just has a few violent scenes with some fake blood and dead bodies.

Well, censorship is an evil on principle, and American society patheticly prudish to an otherworldly degree, but the end result of it here does look better.

Is it even confirmed that this was due to legal or societal censorship, or did they make the change solely on a marketing basis of a better proportioned box art woman being more tantalizing to the intended audience??? More "Innocent" box art has differed between US and EU releases before as well, just look at MGS4.
