I love Borderlands.
It's colourful, it's fun and the loot system is inspired.
But goddamn do I hate those vehicles.
I'm currently playing through the secret armoury DLC with a level 54 Lilith, and the frustration is getting pretty bad.
Most of this DLC is spent going down narrow highways and encountering Crimson Lancer tanks that destroy your truck in three or four hits.
There is no room to circle strafe or dodge sideways(the awkward controls don't allow for that anyway) and any contact made means you fly all over the place as for some reason the game decides you are by far the lightest, flimsiest thing on the road, getting knocked all over the place.
Has anyone actually worked out a decent tactic for vehicle combat in this game?
