I might have to actually go out and buy this game... I keep forgetting about it in my obsession over Fallout: New Vegas. I think its because i'm still bitter that Blizzard never gave me a beta invite.

Who is the pinkish/orange haired woman? She reminds me of Kerrigan pre-infestation. That looks really awesome though!

It may be a prologue scene or something. This first game I think is about Raynor's group, and he was, last I heard, still more than a little haunted by what happened to Kerrigan. I could totally see that scene being part of a flashback scene for Raynor that serves as the intro to the game or something.

Edmund Duke? As in, the OTHER jerkface that serves the big jerkface responsible for the creation of the self-entitled Queen ***** of the Universe?

I'm personally hoping that Kerrigan rips them both to shreds by her own hands, but unfortunately, I doubt that'll happen.

Kerrigan already killed Duke in Brood War, albeit not with her bare hands (and spider claws or whatever she had coming out of her back). When I got the objective to shoot the Norad II to the ground, I pulled all my forces from their engagements and just ripped the thing apart in seconds.

Though if they are flashback sequences (and I really hope they are, if its just starcraft plus updated graphics I'll become...upset) I wouldn't mind them changing the canon to show Kerrigan personally tearing the head from Duke's obviously deformed body.

...You mean Sarah Kerrigan?
Because that HAS to be Kerrigan, right? Alone, fighting a gazillion zerg, left by mr. Jerkface Mengsk, later to be swooped up into a nice little egg.

Goddamn I love Kerrigan. She's one of the best video game villains ever.

It's a shame her original voice actor (and those of other characters) won't be used in SC2. However, with amount of time between the games it's understandable as to why that may be.

Whats with the "wings of liberty" bit there? I can't see how that fits into the storyline...as I recall, kerrigan had decreed the various factions to be fiefdoms under her at the end of the last game...owned by her, but more or less intact. Or am I remembering that wrong?

CGI is CGI is CGI... I am going to get it but is anyone else fed up with the look of games sold almost entirely on their CGI? Not saying this one is. But it's not like we know ANYTHING about the SP.

Hell yeah, I was just thinking what ever happened to good ol' fashion gameplay footage to buy us. I also miss the dumb N64 commercials which were funny...
