British game characters

I've been looking at gaming characters recently, and noticed something about British characters. Because of this, I now give anyone reading this a challenge. Find British gaming characters. However, there are a number of conditions:

1) They can't have a scripted (unavoidable) death
2) They can't be evil (or evil, then turned good)
3) They can not have been playable at any time
4) They can't be a complete idiot
5) They can't be in a game comprised almost entirely of British characters (e.g. Fable)

Being me, I'll probably bring along other rules as I'm reminded of them, but I hope this will create a decent challenge for the community. Good luck!

Point 5 kills it, since you're most likely to find British characters in games set in the UK.

Harry Flynn and Chloe Frazer from Uncharted 2 are both English, but the game is not populated with other Brits, so do they count?

Just going by the games that I have nearby, the only guy that I've found that could fit would be Captain Anderson from Mass Effect. But since he doesn't sound British, I'm not sure if he counts...

That's Keith Motherfuckin' David, the man who survived a fight with Nada (kick bubblegum and chew ass what have you,) and I know, his voice actor sounds a lot blacker than his character actually looks.

"British" means English, Irish, Scottish or Welsh so Cpt. McMillan does count
