I find it degrading to say such things. Especially since "Dude" when respelled a little bit in one of the many african languages means "Elephant Shit"

"Hey! Elephant Shit! Get over here man!"

I only call 4 people bro. My 3 Brothers, and one friend.

Man I will say, because it is an early part of slang that I will regard in my speech. However, I will not say it often. The only times I will say it is "Hey Man", but even than I havn't said that in a long time.

I say "man" and "dude" all the time. My best friend and I have actually had short conversations where all we say is "dude" and we understood what we were talking about.

Well, I will say "man" as a substitute for "golly", but that's about it. I've been pondering the other two however, and while I still don't use them, I can appreciate them as words of brotherhood amongst friends, rather than just words a tool uses to project an image of himself.
