Quick back story. I'm a car guy. I love working on, tweaking, driving, and everything else about cars. Especially the cars of the muscle car era, '64-72.
Sob Story: I happened upon a guy who was selling one of my dream cars. Buick Skylark GS, with the 455 stage 1 engine, convertible, lemans blue with black rally stripe and ragtop, with less than 30k miles. I immediately jumped on it when he said he was selling it for 3 grand. I had just bought a guitar and spent 2k in car repairs, so I told him I was going to get a loan. He agreed to sell it to me, and I ran to get a loan ASAP. I get back to him, he had sold the car.
So now I'm sitting on an auto loan with no car, a loan company that's desperate to get me to buy ANY car, and a broken heart because I was so excited to get the car, it broke my dreams.
Anyone else got a sob story that broke their heart?
