Okay I want a game (preferrably from the last decade or so) that is cock slapping ly ball crushingly difficult where even the slightest mistake ends up with the game reaching for thr K-Y show ,me what you got fellow escapists!

Mount&Blade: Warband is one of the hardest games I've played in a while. Especially when you use manual blocking and disable quitting without saving.
It's not Nintendo hard; but playing for over a year in-game, building up a mighty force, finally taking a castle for myself, then having the ENTIRE Sarranid army attack it (the fight was about 150 vs 1500) and losing everything... that hurt.
That hurt like a *****.

Ninja Gaiden (even the Xbox ones), Call of Duty: World at War on Veteran (grenade spam will be the death of you), Vampire Rain, Final DOOM: The Plutonia Experiment, most of the Mortal Kombat games (especially on the Sega Megadrive), Alone in the Dark (2008, this one is more due to bad design), SWAT 4 (that and Jackson will royally piss you off by complaining about you being in his way) and Altered Beast (again, on the Sega Megadrive) are some that come off the top of my head right now.

Metroid or Zelda (the first ones). They might not crush your balls if you do a mistake, like ninja gaiden, but if you can manage to get through them without a map... Well, sir, you have my respect.

if you die you lose your 'Soul's' there your currency
you can get the soul's back if you make it back to where you died, but die on your journey to your lost soul's and you lose them for good
You die and it cuts your Health Bar IN HALF and you still lose soul's
The Monster's do insane amount of damage

Ok, it'd probably be cheating to be saying "on a high difficulty", but even when not...to get the best sore, you have to rescue the civilians, avoid being shot, stop the criminals, collect the weapons and report everything you do...and you lose points for every trigger happy criminal you injure or kill. And lose loads if you shoot them before they point a weapon at someone, you have to give them time to react to see what they do before you fire.
Also, they running away when they see you, and finding a dark corner of a room you've already cleared to ambush you from.

Any of the modern Ninja Gaiden games will do that for you, but they don't allow K-Y. You need to take it like a man.

All the obvious ones are already listed, so I'll just go with Halo 3... with all the skulls turned on.
Bullets don't work past a certain range, enemies have unlimited grenades (the small enemies will be kamikazies), can't restore health unless you melee an enemy, no checkpoints, other unfair shit I can't think of right now.
Of course, you have to find those skulls first. Easy enough on the lowest difficulty and a guide.

Super Meat Boy certainly gets that way in the Dark World levels, especially if you try to get all the bandages and finish them all under the time limits. If you're really feeling masochistic, go for the achievements for beating each world without dying.
For a strategy game, AI War on difficulty 9+ will absolutely destroy you in horrible, horrible ways, especially with some of the more evil AI types and the more ridiculous stuff in the expansions. It's bad enough even if you don't choose the options that allow it to cheat. It's possible to win, but good luck.
Edit: Also, any and every "bullet hell" shooter certainly qualifies. Go look up Cave's games and your brain will explode.
