Someone wanna explain to me what the big deal with this game is, other than that it's another Halo game? Why is "preorder to unlock Sgt. Johnson" a selling point? I don't know who that is! What, the sergeant who barks at you during Halo 1, the only game of the series I played? Why would I want to play as him? Isn't that sort of like selling an Indiana Jones game and advertising, "unlock Marcus Brodie?" Or selling a Star Wars game and advertising, "unlock Crix Madine?" (ten points to whoever knows who that is)

I don't understand why I'm supposed to want this game or why Bungie is getting so much attention for it.
Brodie and Madine don't say stuff like this [http://www.bungie.net/images/Games/Halo3ODST/sounds/Gotta_Lotta_Issues.mp3] (caution, strong language).
tame compared to none other than..
Gunnery Sgt Hartmann..YOUR SENIOR DRILL INSTRUCTOR!!!

There's no way of telling if Halo: Reach will go the same way as Halo 3 with all the focus on some of the best multiplayer around and a lacking single-player.

It's a Halo game by Bungie so I expect the Multiplayer to still be the best

They could take the books story to heart and put an incredible story into Reach but a lot of the multiplayer-only fans would probably hate it. Halo 2 was criticized by fans for its focus on the Arbiter when his story was loads better than Chief's
