I find that only works if I imagine the sheep (or whatever image you care to count instead) wandering in from one side, jumping over a fence in the middle and landing to wander off the other side. If I just lay there counting with no other reference, it never works. I've decided that it's probably something to do with following the movement with my (closed) eyes, but of course that's pure speculation.ajb924 said:Count sheep.
I shit you not, it works damn good for me. I always thought it was bullshit, but it's amazing. Lay in bed, close your eyes, and count sheep until your out.
Slightly related: yay, 6:30am and I'm still at the computer. Since I have a completely empty day ahead of me, I'm probably going to stay up so that I can get my sleeping pattern synced up again. Been far too much "bed at 6am, up at 5pm" lately, which is no good at this time of year because it means I don't see daylight for days at a time.
