Its based on a game (that I really want to play). Basic idea? Mysterious bad murders happen in town over many years. Each section of episodes that eventually ends with many people dying, is one playthrough of the game basically. Also, part of the mystery about mysterious bad murders is revealed. Many parts actually. and I'm almost sure that there are actually many different explanations given through the series. to explain it differently...

I don't know.. I wasn't paying much attention, nor am I sure that we're talking about the same show.

NO! The whole point of it is the confusion! You're meant to be confused, so the reveal in the second season becomes that more awesome

And yeah i can say they all respawn (kinda s'not really explained how exactly they respawn but they do goddammit)

I haven't watched the anime, but the Manga is quite confusing. 8 Story arcs at the same time makes for so much "Bwhaaaa?"
