Can someone please explain The Force Unleashed 2 ending DLC?

So let's get this out of the way.

In TFU1, the light side ending was the canon one. All's good.
The Dark Side ending is just a what-if, and it has a DLC which involves Starkiller hunting down and killing Luke Skwayler on Hoth, and Ben Kenobi on Tatooine.

Then we get the second game, which continues on from the 1st game's light ending. Once again, it has two endings.

The Light Side ending involves the Starkiller clone taking Vader into custody, and everyone lives happily ever after.

The Dark Side ending, Starkiller attempts to kill Vader, but it stopped and killed by another, perfect evil clone. Kota, Juno, and the rest of the gang all die, and Vader sends the evil apprentice to track down the rest of the Jedi and rebels.

Now he'res where it gets weird. In the post-Dark ending DLC, the evil apprentice gets sent to Endor, where he meets Han and Chewie (who he kills) and later Leia, who is now a Jedi.

Leia drops the bombshell then reveals that after he brother Luke fell on Hoth, she became a Jedi.

Wait, what? Luke dying on Hoth was part of the first game's Dark Ending.

TFU2 continues on from the first game's Light Ending

So... what? What the hell?

That game was created with one purpose only. To ruin everything about Star Wars. And you're asking why it doesn't make any sense? That game is the dark side of The Force.

Didn't the The Force Unleashed 2 still take place before The Empire Strike Back (well before A New Hope)? Maybe during his hunt for the rebel, the dark side scenerio still acted the same during the battle on Hoth well the part with Luke?

As I gathered it, the Endor DLC from TFU2 continues the story of the "What if" Dark side DLC from TFU1.

I don't consider the game to exist in any way, shape or, form in relation to the canon to be honest. The light-side ending of the first game is fine, self contained, etc. The existence of the second game just seems like a smack in the face of all involved. That being said, I wouldn't worry about how it stacks up when it comes to the canon.

I would only ask questions or learn about the story if the game is worth anything. Both TFU 1 and 2 for me are not worth my time.

IMO game and story should meld seamlessly. But if it's a well-written story combined with really bad gameplay, then it becomes a movie with gameplay padding in the middle.

I consider The Force Unleashed to be an in-universe story, basically someone writing historical fiction in the Star Wars universe. It makes about as much sense as anything else. But that feeling of mine is completely unsupported, so I'm going to say that if it were canon, it'd be the Light Side ending of STFU 2. Presumably at some point in the year or so between STFU 2 and A New Hope, Vader will escape Rebel custody, and that would've been STFU 3 if STFU 3 had ever been made, hopefully it never will be. Screw you, Starkiller, and may you burn in Hell.

This. The DLC is just that... DLC. The first game's DLC wasn't canon and this game's DLC won't be canon either.

you get to murder luke skywalker? i might have to get these games next steam sale
You don't kill him, you turn him to the dark side...
Was it worth the payoff seeing Darth Vader III (II is the main protagonist getting the bad ending in TFU 1).

Luke looks up to you with yellow eyes for about two second before the game ends, nothing mechanical on him, so... no, not at all.

Oh and dark side Starkiller is called Darth Stalker apparently.
Wow, I've never laughed so much in a long time. Thanks. But damn, seriously? You're going to seriously carry the title of a Sith with that name?

How can it, when the Starkiller from that was stuck inside his suit and Darth Vader was dead :|

George Lucas said it himself, the first Force Unleashed is as canon as the films, actually.

Actually I think it's Sith Stalker, with that being a label rather than a title. As in, he has no free will any more and it's just a description of his purpose, a Stalker who serves the Sith.
