All the times I remember crying involving a game are all RPGs.
-FF VI
When Cid died, because I didn't get enough fish.
-Fire Emblem
Ninian dying, and Nils, her brother, having a freak out.
-Kingdom Hearts II: the ending
-Tales of Symphonia, at some point (I know I did)

My friends criticize me for "attaching to fictional characters". I tell them it's that I bond with things better than they do.

A few come to mind:
Final Fantasy VII, no prizes for guessing where.
Final Fantasy IX, when after being the lone pillar of strength for both Dagger and Vivi's own breakdowns, Zidane snaps after Garland tells him what he was created for and tries to rip out his soul. Especially afterward, when Dagger brings him to his senses. And that damn music...
The end of MGS4, as well as that corridor near the end.
Various times in Beyond Good and Evil.

Have I cried? No. But I do get sad and happy and that if Im really into it. Meanwhile, I still get in trouble for muttering at the TV when playing the game...

I've been close to tears a couple of times

When Mack and Cookes mom dies, it was a very sad moment because two little kids became orphans and Kiam had just seen his daughter for the first time (after he had though she died years earlyer) in many years just to see her die right before him. Also the ending was sad because Seth sacraficed herself to stop Gongora

Also

When in the epilouge for my first charater (I chose to sacrafice myself) I saw how many lives I had helped. However I was really sad to read the bit about Leliana (she was my charaters girlfriend) and what happened to her even if her ending was supposed to be a little uplifting I still kept thinking "Is it real or is she delusional??"

The end of Crisis Core: FFVII. I know some people didn't like the end, but god damn it, I thought it was the most touching thing I had ever seen.

Actually there were lots of moments in the game like that.
D*MN IT you beat me too it.

Yeah i dont really cry when i lose, but some video games made me cry, like crisis core.
I don't get why, between crisis core and ff7, Cloud completely forgets who Zack is

I cry when a good game is completed or it has some kinda sad ending. I never show tears but inside I have a strange feeling.

Yeah videogames can make you cry, if you think about it should be easier to cry becasue of a game rather then a movie because your playing the charactor, experiencing it yourself, not looking at it 3rd person like a movie(3rd person games still count, what i mean is your making the actions, not watching them happen).

However i have never cried in a game, games seem to not be as deep or emotinal as movies.

However i only cried from 2 movies. Damn you Marley and Me, DAMN YOU.
MARLEY AND ME man if u don't cry in that movie u are heartless but yea i have cryed alot in games call of duty 4 (the ending of it seeing ur team die all around you) metal gear soild 4(seeing snake in so much pain after going on adventures with him) shadow of the collossus(the horse) , fallout 3 (poor dog meat sent to vault 83 whilst wandering with his master) and some others

Yeah that made no sense. He seemed to remember zack when he rubbed his face against zacks chest at the end(it was not homosexual in anyway contrary to how it sounds like). It makes no sense how he would just start thinking he was zack.

Aand another thing, just to put out there, is that cloud the reall cloud or is he a clone for hojo? i played crisis core, the original, and dirge of cerberus but i still dont understand what cloud is
From what I understand, Cloud is always Cloud, he grew up with Tifa* in Nibelheim and was a guard for Zack. I don't think he's a clone, I think he lost his memory between Crisis Core and FF7 by some sort of trick on Sephiroths behalf.

*Why doesn't Tifa remember what happened in Nibelheim when Sephiroth destoyed it?

I cried once playing Rockband but it was more or less because I'm a huge Tribe fan thanks to my brother who had died when I was young. It reminded me of him... I have yet to encounter a storyline that brought me to tears.

Only read the manga and seen the anime, but I say it counts because of how close it is to the game:
Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni.

Oh, and FF3.
