this happened to me the song called "For You I Will (Confidence)" by Teddy Geiger now i thought the song went 'Cannonball into a Wall' but it was actually 'Cannon ball into the water'.

Has this ever happened to you not even realising you were singing the wrong words to your Fave song?

OT: I've gotten lyrics wrong many a time due to the fact that alot of the music I listen to has stupidly fast vocals (ska and hardcore) or just unintelligible vocals (hardcore and screamo).

I do, however, enjoy it when people get the lyrics wrong at a gig...

Sounds like you're talking about a little thing called "Mundegreen" where people mishear lyrics. (Thank you tvtropes!)

OT: This has happened to me quite a bit, but the last one I remember was "Turn it Up" by Chamillionaire. I thought it was "turn it up I THINK THEY'RE playing my song," but my bro bet me $10 that it was "THE DJ playing my song." My bro won.
