:( I was looking forward to this title joining my neatly lined up AA boxes on my shelf. Especialy after the let-down (IMO) that was the third Layton (it was harder to fing the enigma than to solve them). My poor DS will stay untouched, while my PSP will rejoice when I stick P3P in its hungry slot.

Which leads me to this:
Why not ask a small publisher, like those guys who released Recetear, or Ghostlight for us European, to try and get the right to publish it? Their cost are problably lower than Capcom, so they need less sales to turn a profit, while still making money for Capcom.

Dammit! I was really looking forward to Ace Attorney Investigations 2 too (man, that sounds wrong)..

Does Capcom not realize just how big a following the Ace Attorney games have everywhere else in the world?

Either way, looks like another game for Capcoms "Port this ASAP" list.
I'm guessing from your avatar that you take this harder than me...

OT: Capcom, why do you pull a Namco Bandai on us? Give us these games! I love Ace Attorney and Professor Layton too! Also Namco Bandai, give us Tales of Graces!

Just because the first one did not sell that much does not mean the same for the second game or even Layton vs Phoenix Wright
If they put more articles in magazines (Nintendo Game Informer, etc) then maybe there would be more people willing to buy it, then again I do not know how many people are really into Layton because it is almost strictly puzzles.

I hope it isnt going down Mega Man's path, it has what i call the 'Mega Man Effect'.

Within the past few years there has...

- Star Force 3 has been released in Japan and the US, but decided to not rlease it in the UK.
- Shooting Star Rockman EXE was released in Japan but outright denyed for a UK release..it was only untill later that they menctioned that the US isnt getting it neither.
- Mega Man Universe got canceled.

Allthough some titles has managed to slip through into full markets.
- Mega Man Zero Collection
- Mega Man 9/10
- Mega Man Legend 3 is still being developed.

Now i generally hope that the Ace Attorney series isnt going down the same path as some of the Mega Man games....anyone else still have hopes for the Professor Layton crossover?
