As the title would imply, Carving pumpkins, I'd like to know who in the Escapist has bothered to partake in this enjoyable tradition.

I myself tried it for the first time today and came out with really fun (atleast to me and my mates) results.

Here are my results!

Stupid Face didn't exactly go well, since he was the first pumpkin I'd ever carved.
And then the second one.

Went pretty well after I'd gotten used to what I was doing, He's based off a baseball I have with that face drawn on it in sharpie, which is dubbed "The LOL-Ball"
No pictures of LOL-Ball, unfortunately.

Hopefully tomorrow I'll have pictures of them with candles in them...

So yeah, hurry up and show me your efforts!
I am eager to see!

Ya, me and my dad said screw it. We got a pumpkin and we're not going to bother carving it. Just leave it on the steps going to the door.

Oh man you made me want to do that again. My family never gets pumpkins anymore.
I do however love the Lol faced pumpkin.

Moar pumpkins from me.

So today we finally got some candles to shove in our pumpkins at college.
(We're on half term break, and because I'm a TA (Teaching Assistant) I have to go in anyway)
So yeah, now we have...

[EDIT]:
Forgot, here's a better one of "stupid face"
He turned out a lot better then I thought he would.

Also...

My dad carved a pumpkin with Stewie on it from Family Guy (just in case you didn't know who Stewie was). He had an Evil Monkey one too, but we decided to for Stewie. He's doing a Spongebob one for my younger brother now.

I posted David in the other thread, but I might as well put him out here as well since this thread is specifically geared towards pumpkin carving and pumpkin carving accessories.

We usually don't do that where I live, but it'd be fun to give it a try.
No, I did not make these.

I'm carving some pumpkins, for the soup though. But I'll let the kids go round and do whatever they want with them. Once had an Abe Lincoln Pumpkin (complete with hat) sitting on my porch just staring into my living room. Scariest Halloween ever.

Yes it counts for one insanity point. Good job.
I think its less to do with insanity and more to do with going to a halloween party getting drunk then rejected by all the women there and taking my frustrations out on the nearest thing I can reach

I hope I'm not at that party and near you when that happens. I am one good looking guy after all.

OT: Me and my wife will be carving pumpkins for the first time in a few years. I like the Stewie idea mentioned above and may try it.
