Not really, that's what makes it so weird to me.
Don't get me wrong, I still prefer actual tomato sauce, pesto or bolognese or whatever.
But it was surprisingly eatable.

Hmmm... Not as much strange food as an accident but some time ago I mangade to almost burn some rice I was cooking. I managed to save it and decided to fry it instead. The result was amazing. I don't know what or how I did it (maybe not enough salt) but it had the softest taste to ever have graced my tastebuds. It was a little sweet and not too oily. Some would say that it was tasteless, but it wasn't.

Also, french fries and hot chocolate. Try it! (remember to drink it afterwards, the salty side taste is delicious.)

Hmm, a similar thing happened to me.

I was making a microwavable Chicken Burger and mis-read the times... it burst into flames, and was beyond saving when I found it... but dont worry the microwave itself didnt actually get burnt at all, so no there wasnt any radiation or anything like that... or was there, it would explain how I came up with the idea to make this thread.

Nope! Just before you put it in to roast, dump a can over it. Then bake.

You should try it with regular coke, the sugar in the regular stuff is much better at giving it a nice sweet honey roast kind of taste! Diet coke has sorbitol its not as good!
