One of the hypest moments of my life! Seeing this with my brother on the TBS Superstation was amazing. I was five at the time.

The Alastor cut-scene in DMC1.

The beginning of Parasite Eve (ps1).

To this day seeing the Lucasfilm logo flash up on any screen makes me smile and I love the opening Star Wars fanfare.

When you see the brachiosaurus in Jurassic Park. The quiet awe and John Williams amazing score created one of cinema?s most memorable scenes. Helpfully sold by Sam Neil?s very believable stutter of ?Its a, it?s a dinosaur?, mirroring the assuredly slack jawed audience.

I'm going to be the basic person in the room and go with a classic:
My brother and I would watch every new episode of Naruto on Toonami growing up, eagerly awaiting for this moment we've only heard of on the internet, and boy were we MAXIMUM HYPED when the episode aired.

We also got hyped for every episode of Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo, but nothing could compare to the months of anticipation, waiting to watch invincible Gaara get his butt kicked by a kid with seaweed strips for eyebrows.

When this magazine announced that the Dragon Ball Z: Super Butōden 2 game was going to be released for the SNES in the West, I learned what hype was.

And when the western release was cancelled, I also learned to never believe in the hype.

I was there for the arrival of the original Lion King movie, Pokemon and Harry Potter, I know hype...

Hmm, I know I've been super hyped for games but I'm kinda drawing a blank. One of the main ones that comes to mind was the original Gameboy. I wanted one so bad but I thought my grades weren't good enough for my folks to get me it for xmas and when presents were finished being opened it looked like I was right. But, by that point I had made peace with not getting one since my grades weren't what was needed for them to get one, then they pointed out a present that was hidden behind something to me and huzza, that was a great xmas. Turned out I had misread my report card and just made it.

I remember ET being the first movie I remember seeing at the cinemas. I had to travel an hour and a half to see it. I didn't even see it in the same year as it was released. Movies seemed to stay at the cinemas for years back them.

Didn't care for the movie but I remember the rerelease being a big thing and there was a hige line up

So can you imagine how much I popped off the first time I saw these in my arcades?


Also fun fact about me. I say 'Infinity!' in my head when I struggle to do something to overcome it.

I can not be more of a geek.

I was 9 and my dad took me to see The Matrix. I had no idea what it was, ended up leaving that movie hype as hell.

Was then super hyped for The Matrix Reloaded, and thus I learned that with great hype comes great disappointment.
