Half an entire theme park rips off Starcraft and not a single fucking pylon in sight.

To be honest we are making the assumption that warcraft/starcraft invented many of these ideas, i mean come on the starcraft collosus for example is a war of the worlds rip off and im pretty sure tolkien invented orcs.

Neither WoW nor Starcraft are popular because of their unique IP- they're popular because they take a fairly generic fantasy/sci-fi concept and execute it really well as a game.

As others have said, it's not like foreign IP rights mean diddly-shit in China anyway.
