All the more reason for me to go to Paganism... Sometimes it just seams like Christians are always looking for something to complain about.
Faith is faith, illogical. Going to cocaine to stop heroin makes no sense.

It's times like this I'm seriously considering going Buddhist.

FOR CRYING OUT LOUD, YOU ARE AN IDIOT YOU STUPID MORON! Your daughter is just intelligent, and if you are a homophobe, then to hell with you, you intolerant...

Gah. I think I can stop wasting my words, thick skulls cannot be penetrated by any force. Except for a physical one.
(Applauds.) I've seriously considered Buddhism. I don't dislike christians, but Buddhists generally don't get in a state about ridiculous little things like this.
In hindsight, maybe thats cos most buddhists aren't overprotective mothers.

Congratulations for showing you have absolutely no idea of what Paganism is about.

If gay marriage is allowed Christians complain, if not, homosexuals complain.

"pushing the gay agenda" she says... what? You mean the we-should-all-have-equal-rights agenda? This is bad how?

The paranoia of homophobes astounds me sometimes. I've yet to meet a gay person ever who has any interest in 'turning' non-gays to their sexuality. The whole notion is ludicrous.

IT'S NOT A CHOICE, IT JUST HAPPENS. And attacking people who do happen to be gay is pretty much pathetic and says a lot more about the attacker than the people they attack.
Oh my god, exactly what I was going to say.

People like her are why I detest the human race.

Congratulations on being unknowledgable.

It's still a faith-based system. You believe in the supernatural in some aspects. You are replacing heroin with cocaine, my friend.

On the other hand, going from cocaine to a harmless white substance makes a lot of sense.

In fact, going to a harmless white substance that gets you high by way of the placebo effect from cocaine makes a *lot* of sense.

(not that I'm calling Christianity cocaine, but for the sake of argument going along with your estimation of it)
Religion is the placebo of the masses. Going from one drug to another fixes nothing, even if it's a placebo effect because that still relies on faith.

Faith is nonsense. It's believe in spite of the facts.

I can't agree with the mother insinuating that the game has a "gay agenda". But what I find more interesting is this; the irony that on a thread about "Christians" attacking a gay agenda, half the people use it to justify hating Christians.

UGH... This is one of the many reasons why I have left the faith. Christians have got to complain about every little thing don't they?! Well I guess that is a little harsh but you see my point right?

Je-sus. I can't believe this happened. I mean, I used to play this thing when it was... yanno... a real board game. I played it as a 12 year old and we all thought it was funny as hell to place similarly colored little plastic thingies next to each other. Cos that's all you're doing. They're not pushing a homosexual agenda, they're simply saying, "Here's something you can do to probably get some cheap giggles." And I'd -love- to hear that 'respectful review.' I've learned that when fanatics send 'respectful reviews' it's their way of saying "I used so much inappropriate language and was so pigheaded that I made someone's head explode but it's okay because I'm right and everyone who's not like me is wrong."

*takes deep breath* Wow, that got long winded. Sorry about that. Also,

"You know how kids are," said the unnamed mother. "My daughter noticed right away (even before I did) and clicked on one of the girls instead of one of the men and then asked, 'Mom, how come I can marry a woman?' And then that led into a lot more questions that, quite frankly, I was not ready to talk to my 6-year-old about."
Whats so complicated to say "Cause you can sweetie, now play!".
NAILED IT. I'm actually pretty sure this lady wanted to find a damned soap-box to stand on.

Damn it...Where's my Bible... I have to beat this woman over the head with the largest book in my library...which turns out to be my Bible. If she actually read and comprehended the Bible, she might not be such a Xenophobe. The fact that she is imprinting her daughter with such bigotry makes me worry about the next few decades in this country.

I like how this woman refers to a "homosexual agenda", somehow implying that game people are super humans with a hive mind... actually, that would be pretty awesome.

Is it the game companies fault that a woman can't educate her child about something as simple as same-sex love?

"It's like normal love, only with less babies and more hygiene." See? It's simple!
