Clown 9: New Spiderman Villain

What do you guys think of Clown 9 in the spiderman newspaper comics. It's been awhile since Stan made a villain. Corny Comic Hardy Laurel becomes Clown 9 in a fit of rage and jealousy.

Man what a weird costume though.

I'd comment about how stupid he is...but honestly, this is about par for course when it comes to Stan Lee-created villains. This is the same guy who lamers like Mole Man and The Vulture, people.

Well, Mole Man kind of grows on you, I do like his more recent portrayals in terms of character design:

He does seem a bit silly, but I say wait a while and he'll take on a darker tone.

Also I like the reference in his real name Hardy Laurel, that was a nice touch.

Only a true badass can pull off that vest/tights combo.

For the uninitiated, a crazy Russian who read "The Most Dangerous Game" a couple times too many and decided that it would be fun to kill Spiderman. Then, when he finally beat Spiderman in a fight, he killed himself because he had defeated every worthy opponent in nature.
