So sometimes there's games that seem to be part of a genre that has no name or are part of some kind of sub genre that hasn't been defined yet. What are some names you would give to these genres?

For example, I have coined the name, Diorama Sidescroller. There's games like Super Mario 3D World or Little Nightmares where you main goal is to go from left to right like a Sidescroller but the game is 3D and has depth to it, where you can move around an actual 3D environment. Little Nightmares in particular feels like a bunch of dioramas stitched together.

Sword fight simulator - admittedly I just want more games like Bushido Blade, I guess Die by the Sword can count as there's just so few entrants in the sub genre.

Surrealist walking simulator - walking around a forest listening to babbling audio tapes is boring, but at least games like LSD, Yume Nikki, Gaball Screen, and THAT or TRIP (made by notxenon and Xenon respectively, seriously hard to find these games otherwise) look weird and interesting.

When I heard the terms Diorama Sidescroller and Surrelist walking simulator, I put them together and thought of Return to the Obra Dinn. But also Sudoko simulator

That's better then my take on Little Nightmares, which I'd taken to calling a "Creepy Dollhouse platfomer".
