Communal fanfic

Now, I've read some decent fanfic in my time, but mostly god-awful-laugh-out-loud fanfic. Having a bunch of people who can chuck a verb around on here, I gots ta thinkin' that we here at the Escapist could probably come up with the most hilarious fanfic of all time.

What will happen is once we've established things like text to follow, plot etc. we'll allocate each beat of a story to one person. For example, Harry Potter makes love to a mahogany wand, that scene or beat will be written by one person.

So, what I need from you people is a register of interest. Are you interested in writing a section of the thing? What text do we follow? Do we do a Twilight fanfic? Maybe a Harry Potter Mary Sue? Maybe even a Scooby-Doo/Queer as Folk crossover!

Once we have all that down, we can start throwing around some ideas regarding our plot/plotholes.

I'd been down for this project, however, it would have to be about a topic I actually have knowledge about, or actually want to acquire knowledge about, so that knocks Twilight out. They had to trap me on an airplane to get me to watch it, but i sure as heck wasn't shelling out for the headphones!
