Hmm, I think they should increase taxes on the super rich (But not crazy amounts) and give national health care so it gets rid of some of the stress of being a small business owner... of course you would have to increase taxes for small business owners but it would be cheaper than medical insurance for your employees.

Also Why not just legalize Pot ( I know I'm getting in to a WHOLE NEW TOPIC/ ARGUMENT) but if they did (and I'm not a user of it) they would make 80 million a year in taxes like they do with Cig's and that means if we break even every year we would be out of debt in 2021.

I hate that argument. If weed tax could save America, why hasn't tobacco tax saved us yet?

Because smoking is demonized as a baby-sodomizing cancer-giving menace and many people are attempting to quit? Dunno on that one.

But I do know this legalizing pot: the industry would explode out of the gates. After so long of telling Americans that they can't have something and then saying "have at it"? The "new freedoms acquired" mentality would send sales skyrocketing almost instantly.

When has government ever lowered a "sin" tax .
Yay, carbon tax, new emisions standards that will increase car prices 1300 bucks and a deficient we will be paying a trillion in interest on. Our government loves us and is so smart with our money I trust them fully and they should continue to remain in office !

I just loved how the reasoning behind this was that soda causes obesity. There is no way you can prove that. Especially if you look at my friend whom drinks almost a damned 24 pack a day and hasn't gained a fucking pound.
You know what causes obesity? NOT EXERCISING.

There is no possible way that not exercising can ever cause obesity.

True, it requires a poor diet and overly sedentary life style as well.

In actuality I perfectly exemplify those qualities, yet I've been drastically losing weight. Though my diet is horrifically made up of microwave meals, junk food, and soda, I just plain don't eat a lot, soda is the only thing I consistently consume a lot of.

I really hate you, I don't drink soda, i try not to eat out (which is very hard in my family) and I don't eat too much and I'm still over 220
