It's usually proper in political journalism to add his affiliation and state to his name, in the future. I have no idea who he is, if I can support him, or anything like that without that information.

you know what the sad thing is?
the moorons who support SOPA will discredit this guy because he is gay.
but he IS awesome, go vote for him people, not just because of this but he seems to generally be a good guy

Huh never heard of him before which is strange considering his behaviour should of caused some conteroversy at least, who does he represent as at least that state (or whatever) seems pretty open minded

Haha, it's funny how a politician can easily manipulate a group of people and score points with them just by admitting that he likes something or does something similar as them.

If I would live in the USA, Jared Polis would definitely get my vote. I am glad to see the U.S. government isn't completely made up out of (prehistoric) hard-asses, which made SOPA a possibility in the first place.
