Cowboy Bebop/Les Claypool III/Les Claypool/Primus

So recently while watching the Bebops credits i noticed the Sound Supervisor is Les Claypool the 3rd is this the same Les from Primus? Can very curious to know and my research has turned up nothing substantial.

No, not at all. Les Claypool III is an Anime sound engineer, Les Claypool isn't even a 'jr' so, it's safe to say they're not the same person.

Do you know for certain or are you making assumptions?
No i looked.I was curious if it might be an alias type of situation. Add a three to his name.

It would be awesome but I don't think that slap bass metal (Or whatever primus says they play nowadays) fits into Bebop well.

Silliness aside, It might be a shout out thing or just a happy coincidence.

Stanley Clarke plays bass in the American Seatbelts.

If you don't know what that means go to youtube right now. Its much more impressive then Les Claypool from Primus not being the sound supervisor.
