Let's say you are in in some sinister business for a good while now. You grow weed and sell drugs around the corner, or respray and sell stolen cars or whatever.

Oh noes! One day, when you are in your house, you hear the sirens from afar! The cops know of you doing dark stuff, so now it's time to get away from there!

Running is only a last resort, you gonna need a vehicle(or at least an object with wheels).

Look around your house. Which ways of transportation are the fastest to get out of there at the moment? And if your primary option fails, what's the backup?

Well I am in the top floor and I have no car. So obviously I would go to the roof and use my sheets and bed frame as a hang glider.

My primary mode of transportation from here is falling. I will plummet 20 feet to the driveway in front of my apartment block. Assuming my brains are not now contributing to the delicate ecosystem of the garden in the front yard, I will hopefully have had the presence of mind to bring my skipping rope. Using it to skip my way down the street may not seem like an effective escape plan from armed policemen, but ZOOM, fucking helicopter out of nowhere scoops up my rope as it passes over my head and I hang on for dear life as it heads for the coast where my private yacht is anchored.

If that fails, there is a train station 30 seconds away. I'm certain the police wont be cunning enough to radio ahead to the neighbouring stations to have more officers waiting for me.

Primary: unicycle built for use with stilts
Secondary: stilts

Because any tale about running from the cops should start out as "well, that's a funny story..."

Actually, running would be the best option of all. That way if the cops do catch you but don't find enough evidence to charge you, they can't ping you for arbitrary traffic offences instead.

I have a smartcar... Oh boy, the one car that can turn over while making a left turn. Well, failing that, there's a network of fences and backyards I know I can get through. It's like a maze, unless you know what you're doing.

If you were running with stilts in that batman outfit, I think the cops won't be able to follow you because they'd die from laughter.

M1A2 Abrams?

If not then I'll go for a HMMWV with a mounted mini-gun.
Why are those in your house o_O
Have you ever tried to park a main battle tank in your garage?
I have. It's a lot harder than it looks.

OT: I've got a car just outside the window.
