Creativity with Superpowers

To control matter in its simplest is to control protons, neutrons and electrons. You can control heat, electricity, space. Control of matter is only limited by your creativity and the laws of physics. And that my friend is no limit at all. I would kill, litterally hundereds of people, for that power.

I wrote something fine and witty but then lost it, so here's the outline I used:

Vibration power. Consider link to string theory --> quantum? Destruction and or creation of matter, after mastery of (Research this). Red pandas. Sound creation and the generation of heat, as in, microwave ovens, vibration of water molecules. Super-powered nuclear pocky.

Consider also: power to projectile-bleed on people from sphincter.

I kid you, don't worry. I already made up a guy, his power is the generation of a compact kinetic energy. He also has a sword, just for fun. The only reason he poses a threat is because the character with the powers is a kid, and doesn't have the hang of what he has.

But I do want to quote what you just said about the killing people. Hope that's alright.

OT: I think straight-up motion beats vibration, since it kind of encompasses it. I never understood why, say, Jedis didn't just point and click on their enemies and make them have a tiny aneurism in the back of their brains that would kill them instantly. It'd take so much less effort than hucking a shit brickhouse or whatever at them.

Is there any power you can think of that maybe some comic-book hero doesn't use to its full extent?

You could be telekinetic and if you come up against a really.. heavy person instead of using your power to move them, which would be exchausting trust me I'm a pro, you could pick up other objects. Or more creatively you could use your power to draw water from a nearby source and surround them with it, nicely drowning them.

You know how you have electric powers in Infamous? I want to expand that to controlling electrons in their entirety. Powers including but not limited to:

Shooting lightning
Magnetizing one's self to metal to climb walls a la anyone that does that
Magnetizing metal towards anywhere I want a la the force
Making metal magnetic
Running on power lines
Turning something ordinary like, sand, or something, I don't know, into a sword
Turning a tack into a bullet
Creating heat through motion of electrons
Shock people directly like an electric chair, static, or touching an exposed wire (numbness)
Paralyzing people through any of the above choices that apply.
Controlling metal (bend, levitate, etc.)

Damn, now I want that power.

EDIT: forcing chemical reactions
breaking things down to their elemental forms
channeling electricity from a source, through my body, into a device. Borderline useless, but awesome nonetheless
Shooting electrons, forcing nuclear fission
Setting things on fire
