I have the awkward feeling that there is another movie reference in that, which I fail to grasp. The last two panels seem to hold it.

Even after a post apocalyptic launch, Vegas is where the American Dream dies.

Also, the ghouls are truly God's prototype. Too weird to live, too rare to die. Only difference is that they were mass produced.

Good comic. I like it. Glad I haven't had any glitches yet. Well, except for floating rocks... hm...

Yup, pretty much sums up my experience in New Vegas, apart from the fact that I don't have that many egg timers flyin' 'round, but rather a billion "units" of lead! What, a pile of junk weighs a ton, but when you melt it down, it's gravity-defying? xD

Still, I'm having loads of fun with this game, and with the current state of things, it can only get better, right? ... right?!?

Also, +1 on kitty adoration.

I have crashed twice in 40+ hours of gameplay... framerate sucks in areas.

But I love this game and I too wonder where all the egg timers have come from.

I have set up my room as an arsenal that the Nazi's would wish was theirs.

I didn't get it. Maybe it's referencing a movie i haven't heard of or seen.

Incidentally, my game doesn't freeze very often (twice in twenty hours) and have had very little few glitches. The glitches i have come across were one or two pathfinding issues when something got stuck in the geometry, such as in a wooden pallet or a rock. I'm playing on the xbox 360 version, on the xbox slim. I've heard people claim the problems are nowhere near as pronounced on the slim as compared to those who play it on the original xbox (can't say for PC and PS3), but who knows.

Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. A Hunter Thompson masterpiece that was put into film staring Depp. It is about Hunter and his friend trying to find the American Dream in Vegas which they both believed no longer exists. They actually made a similar journey and taped it asking people where they could find "the American Dream" and some people actually thought they were looking for this new casino that they hadn't heard of.

Although that synopsis sounds confusing, at least the comic makes a lot more sense now, thank you.

If it's really trippy, i'll definitely have to pick it up and watch it. One of my favourite movies is A Scanner Darkly, and that film had me tripping balls.

Well that was trippy. I didn't get all the references in it but it was still pretty funny. Thankfully the worst bugs I've gotten are the ones where things start fazing through surfaces. Even other surfaces fazing through surfaces. Its weird but not a huge problem.

Although there do seem to be more bugs in New Vegas than 3. Mantises, those weird flying moth things, alongside the radscorpions, ants, and roaches.

Great comic. Also, this may very well have been the first time I got the song reference at the bottom.

What i find odd about all these "bug" issues with the newest fallout is that i have yet to experience a single issue in over 30 hours of gameplay. Are these mostly being seen on the PC version because i am playing the console version atm. If the bugs are mostly centered on the PC its not the game and more your PCs hardware, drivers, etc....

awesome just awesome

doing a comic about the game I am currently playing and basing it on one of the best books I have ever read.
