Oh my god that would be the best game ever if not for the awesomeness that would ensue while playing it.

Class, although Layton doesnt look like he should be there, the rest of the word is all anime, wheras Layton still looks like he's made of lego :p

LOL. And just as I get to finishing watching the entire Saw franchise, this comic comes around.

Fun times, fun times.

"There's something I don't like about that silk hat"?

Was that a jab at Apollo Justice I picked up there?

Easy. This is a reference to the Phoenix Wright/Professor Layton Crossover where the two seem to be at odds regarding the case of this girl being a witch. Wright is a defense attorney, one of the best in the Wright series, and Professor Layton is a master at puzzles and solving mysteries. This comic puts a spin on the crossover by changing the way you'd imagine the game to play out, turning Professor Layton into Jigsaw from the Saw horror films with Wright as his latest victim. It's played out so well that any fan of either series can't help but find it hilarious.

I love both series, I love Saw, and I love this strip too. I really hope that the game turns out like this, even if it's just in a little part of it, because I would love the hilariosity of seeing the 'good' Professor going all batshit insane and torturing our favourite defence attorney :p.

It's parodiyng the Saw movies, where the victim wakes up all bruised up and strapped, only to find a TV or an audio tape with a creepy voice telling them that they did something "wrong" with their lives and must "pass a test", or "play a game" to "redeem themselves", and then he needs to solve some puzzle to live, if not, well, quoting one of the movie taglines, "There will be blood".

And by the fact that there's going to be a game about Ace Attorney vs Professor Layton.

OT: In fact, I wouldn't mind if this game comes true, just imagine the possibilities, making it a multiplayer game, where one player sets the traps and puzzles as Layton and the other has to solve them as Ace... that would be epic =D

That was just...amazing. That was...wow. Your best comic by far.

Again this just proves that a comic without the main heroine in it, or atleast not playing a part, is much better than the normal office life ones you do. More in game comics please!

Why do Japanese characters always orgasm when they are surprised?

Also, the comic was funny, the actual game does not interest me.
