Man it is sad that even the mere mention of that life destroying site makes me want to type it into my adress bar... Addiction does not even come close when dealing with that... THING... Now if you need me I'll be checking to see if CM has its own TvTropes page...

EDIT: Turns out they do! Not very extensive, but it's there
Is it wrong that I can go to TvTropes and not waste time there? I mean I've done it once or twice, but now whenever I go I'm not really affected by its supposed alluring and time wasting qualities anymore.

I'm not judging anyone, but I'm just not all that interested in that site enough :p

Hmm, I did rather appreciate the burn against "My Word Balloons Are More Professional Than Yours" guy.

And it's pretty damn funny when people get into an argument about fiction and cite TVTropes eight times in a single paragraph.

I've never really understood why the Internet regards TvTropes as it does. I've been there, I've looked up every article with a funny name or ones to do with my interests and it was funny and educational. However, I was never there for more than about 2 hours a week - which is as long as I typically spend reading articles on this site.

Great thing with the bubbles, I know people were bitchin about how last time she did it "wrong".

Also, very accurate. Before They settled me as an Asperger with anxiety and sleeping disorders I was an idiot savant with schizophrenic tendencies. No joke.

I like this strip, mostly because any sort of therapist that spoke like that usually recommended me more therapy got belted in the face.

Also, I shall now be using "Pants" as an active term for lame, unless corrected for its insult-definition later.

edit: unless "Pants" is short for "Pants-on-head retarded"

Sure a comprehensive knowledge of TV-Tropes equals a Degree in English Lit (A Bachelor at least).

Just as an extensive knowledge of all medicine related Wikipedia Articles would sum up to more knowledge than any doctor posesses.

That is because being a scientist is not about memorizing facts, but about learning how to create them yourself. And that can be quite hard when you learned all of that stuff from preserved sources, instead of working it up yourself.

*Has probably taken the comment way too serious, but thinks it is a fun topic to discuss.*

I was thrown off by the speech bubbles, glad you hung a lantern on it. [http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/LampshadeHanging]
Also, love the look on Erin's face in the last panel.
