Is it wrong that I can go to TvTropes and not waste time there? I mean I've done it once or twice, but now whenever I go I'm not really affected by its supposed alluring and time wasting qualities anymore.GamerLuck said:

I've never really understood why the Internet regards TvTropes as it does. I've been there, I've looked up every article with a funny name or ones to do with my interests and it was funny and educational. However, I was never there for more than about 2 hours a week - which is as long as I typically spend reading articles on this site.
Great thing with the bubbles, I know people were bitchin about how last time she did it "wrong".

I like this strip, mostly because any sort of therapist that spoke like that usually recommended me more therapy got belted in the face.
Also, I shall now be using "Pants" as an active term for lame, unless corrected for its insult-definition later.

Sure a comprehensive knowledge of TV-Tropes equals a Degree in English Lit (A Bachelor at least).
Just as an extensive knowledge of all medicine related Wikipedia Articles would sum up to more knowledge than any doctor posesses.
That is because being a scientist is not about memorizing facts, but about learning how to create them yourself. And that can be quite hard when you learned all of that stuff from preserved sources, instead of working it up yourself.
