Well, I know someone's buying me a new graphics card when this comes out I mean, holy shit! 3D graphics companies a few years ago WISHED they could do this with a dedicated rendering farm in a weekend, and this engine runs in real time at 60 fps.

Those images brought chills down my laptop's power supply. I haven't played the first game and I don't know whether it's been mentioned before, but maybe the name "Crysis" comes from the fact that you have to put yourself into a cryogenic stasis for a few years to wake up at a time when computers can actually run these games.

Well, these are called target shots. They're made with the game's engine alright (maybe a few particle effects here and there improved), but we will have to see if the game really is going to look that good. If it is, then I won't be able to play it

Really? I'm pretty sure these will look closer to in-game graphics than most people presume.

Don't under-estimate the freaks at Crytek labs - The original Crysis still visually outdoes a LOT of newly released games nowadays and the engine was built 3 years ago. I just hope they optimise the engine more efficiently this time - I've got X-fired dual 4870's running on my beast CPU and I still can't max out all settings on Crysis 1
