Yeah, all that stuff that comes with standard/collector's edition?

Turns out everyone will get them, whether they are buying the game on the launch day, two weeks after, or even 5 years. And their standard edition already looks so good.

You see that. Ubisoft, Activision, and EA? That's what being consumer-friendly really means

CDPR continues to show the rest of the AAA industry what a studio/publisher should be. Them and Devolver Digital are like the only two good guy companies left.

It's funny when NOT having a marketing hook IS the marketing hook.

CDPR are very consumer friendly. only if they focus on gameplay mechanics.
I think you'll find people prefer the story and plot choices of CDPR games over the mechanics, and it's what they're more famous for.

I remember so many claps given out at E3 over companies doing the same thing. No loot boxes got heaps of applause. So did No Microtransaction

Not having crappy business needs to be encouraged. Apparently. It seems like handing out Participation Certificates at school

The best is when companies say that they won't have microtransactions for the applause and then they put microtransactions into the game.

Thanks Randy Pitchford. Thanks Overkill. You make your brands worthless by being huge liars (though I don't know why anyone would ever trust Randy to begin with).

Good. I didn't plan on pre-ordering it anyway.

Good. Lets hope other developers catch on, and eventually everyone realises that introducing pre-orders in the first place was a terrible, terrible decision for the games industry.

With any luck, they'll go after DLC next.

I don't feel like it's a big deal either way. it's not like this is the first game to continue making collectors editions after the first print.
