DC Comics Teases a New CRISIS

Is the comics publishing giant already looking to another universal-reboot?

As you DC Universe. [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/videos/view/the-big-picture/2568-Continanity]

Now, it appears it may be happening again: In an on Facebook, [http://www.ign.com/articles/2014/09/09/jim-lee-dan-didio-talk-dc-comics-past-present-and-futures-end?page=2] wondering aloud if it was time to "do it one better."

There have technically only been two "official" DCU-reshaping Crises: Crisis on Infinite Earths, which merged DC's Multiverse into a single timeline in 1985, and 2005's Infinite Crisis, which broke them up again. But other events like Final Crisis (despite the title, not technically considered a sequel to the earlier Crises) and Zero Hour have had similar effects. The current The Anti-Monitor [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/videos/view/the-big-picture/4132-Continanity-Rebooted] was the secret true power behind recent grim events.

There has been official confirmation from DC as to what, if anything, is actually being hinted at; and no sense of what (if anything) about current or former continuity a third Crisis would be intended to do (or undo.)

I hope not. Yes, some of the stuff they have done with the new 52 has been hit and miss but I have actually enjoyed alot of it. I think I am in the minority but I am enjoying Superman for the first time in years.

...I'm not a comic guy, save for the classics and the occasional Deadpool volume, but didn't DC JUST HAVE a big reboot? Why reboot again? Constantly hitting the reset button isn't going to fix things guys.

DC have become creatures of habit

If this comes into fruition, "F*ck You DC"

The only thing DC and Marvel care about is sales and issue number 1's sell best Marvel are going to restart with issue 1's for every story are so once every year or 2 while DC do the continuity reboot that it self takes 1-2 years.

I don't think they'll reboot, maybe remove things people REALLY hate like Teen Titans by Lobdell n some origin stuff but I doubt they'll just end this new continuity.

Not every crisis are reboots...

Though most of the time they bring retcons of sorts. But whatever, I think DC crisis are super fun anyway.

Do it. New 52 sucks and the characters deserve better. Reboot and stick to your universe instead of ruining people's collections.

I haven't even read the New 52 and I'm hoping something awful happens to Lobo as a result of this.

It WOULD be nice if DC did a PROPER reboot and had the first year being ORIGIN stories for everyone.

Not like New 52 where they set it YEARS, sometimes, DECADES, after the start.

This time around for a reboot? DC makes every character as dark and brooding as Batman... or kills everyone except Batman.

Relevant???

Eh, I wasn't a huge fan of this universe anyhow, but thinking about this is giving me a headache.
