Muldan picked up his axe and placed it on his shoulder, while it was fairly large for a dwarven war axe, the mithril used to forge it made the axe only a tenth of the weight a normal iron axe would weigh

"Well look at it this way, a small band of people might not attract as much attention as an army, so we may actually have a better chance at this" he said in defence of the elvan king

While normally elves and dwarves had cool relations, his clan had always held the elves in the highest regard and the elves in turn favored his clan greatly in terms of trade and craftmanship.

"Hmmph. Once again the fates call upon few to save many." Ephraim mused, talking to himself. "Often, these few fail... However, it shall not be so this time."

Ephraim followed the other warriors out of the hall, and into the Red Lake Forest. Ephraim had only been here once before... Six years prior on a diplomatic trip with his father, a Lord. His town was right along the border between the Strangletop Mountain range, and the Red Lake Forest. He kept a piece of weaponry from each of the three races, signifying his unity with them. Many of his friends were elves and dwarves when he was a boy.

"I am glad to be in the company of fellow warriors..." Ephraim said to the rest of the party. "Let us see what the fates have decided for us."

Ephraim whistled loudly, and a brilliant black horse with a white main came galloping.

"Erika..." Ephraim said to the horse. "We ride into unknown peril... I am glad to have you with me, as well."

"Really?" Thought Clok'ul. "The elven king is this weak? We elves could have done this on our own, but instead the King calls upon filthy dwarves and barbaric humans."

Clok'ul walked out of the hall, into the forest. A beautiful place, which he had visited many times before.

Clok'ul watched from a distance as Ephraim spoke to the rest of the warriors. "Fate..." Thought Clok'ul. "What a foolish human term."

As the group rode out of Red Lake Forest, they went past the Strangletop road, Ylandrir hill access, aswell as Okrua.
Okrua was known to be a safe-haven for goblins. After the second war, many goblins surrendered. After roaming across Iroka for five years, they built their own small village.

We are closing in on Black Valley. Once we get there, we are in terretory that we do not know is friendly or no. So once we get there. Be on guard.

Jothren gripped the leash tighter as he saw a figure in the distance.
Hold it! It's a merchant.

As they got closer, they noticed a goblin, sitting on a horse, and being followed by a pack mule.

There is Black Valley.
Jothren pointed forward. As the group's attention snapped away from the goblin and towards Black Valley, they noticed why the name was so distinctive.

What they saw, was a dark and tight corridor of rocks and boulders. The air was murky and dead. It smelled and looked like a graveyard. It was as if all the joy had been stripped from the world. As they entered, they felt nothing but cold, and saw nothing but rocks covered in mist. As they got further in, they saw skeletons hung on trees and animal skulls on the rocks. Dead trees were scattered through a dark and misty lake in the middle of large cliffs.
Keep guard lads, i have a bad feeling about these cliffs.

Clok'ul stared at the valley unafraid. Seeing a chance to prove the Elven superiority, he decided to slowly cross the valley, urging the others to follow. As he took his first steps, however, the fear quickly began to sink in, and he understood his situation for what it was.

This one effects the entire group, and i beg of you for not doing too many OOC's on the thread, tell me your vote in PM PLEASE! Thank you.

The dead tree's started to look like they were lurking around, and whispering secrets to one another.
The fear of the mist sank into the men as they moved closer towards the lake. As they approached the lake, they saw that something was sparkling down at the bottom. No one was able to make out what it was, but it looked like treasure.

As Jothren tried to put his hands into the lake and pick it up, the cliffs began to rumble and rocks were rolling down the hill.

He quickly pulled his hand out of the lake and grabbed his claymore.

Option1: Try and take the treasure.
Option2: Proceed to the left.
Option3: Proceed to the right.
Option4: Proceed forward.

As the group declines the treasure for fear of the unknown and the passing of precious time, they carry on a little forward. They see three ways, one leading forward, one left, and one right.

After talking amongst themselves, Jothren steps in

We go forward!

His voice echoing slightly, as he turned his horse to the side and proceeded forward into the vast valley.

The ground was covered with mist, the air was damp and dirty. Mud played with the horse's legs as they walked on it.

There it is

Jothren pointed towards a large wooden gate, guarded by the most ugliest and fierce of creatures they had set their eyes upon. Everyone but the elves that is.

The elves had been at alliance with the trolls for over 1000 years. They were the first inhabitants of Iroka. Then came the elves, then the dwarfs and so followed.

As the trolls quietly and slowly lifted the gate with a simple wooden mechanism above it, they looked down as they saw the adventurers go through the gate.

Just keep still, they have not attacked us, either their king seeks audience or prisoners. Look for an ambush, we're in their territory now.

They proceeded a little forward, and they saw small trolls playing with animal skulls, females and male trolls were working their small dark farmland, everything around the area was mountains, dark and high, stretching to the skies. You could not see any lowland or any seas. Just poverty and despair.

In the middle of the it all, was a small castle. It had a little bridge to it, and as they walked over it, they dared not look down into the dark abyss that stretched on forever.

The great doors to the castle's entrance opened with a loud screeching noise, offering them welcome.

Muldun tightens his grip on his axe

"These trolls creep me out, I wish you would know for sure what their king wants" he muttered

You can only know what you find out yourselves these days.

Jothren proceeded into the doors and walked inside.

Follow me

Jothren, closely followed by his companions went into the great hall and were greeted by a beautiful woman.

Our master had been expecting you. He has been expecting you for over ten years.

The woman looked at Jothren and smiled, and then to the others.

As the woman gracefully put her hands on a lever, the group fell into a pit, not so gracefully.

They landed on their stomachs and backs, in mud and sand on top of stone floor.

Fucking Trolls! I knew they were working for Daedre!

Jothren stood up furious and pulled out his claymore.
Come out Jokun! Come out and show your face! Don't let your WOMAN do all the work for you!

The rest of the adventurers soon found out who Jokun was, he was the troll king, and he was big. Very big.

Alright Jothren! Ready for ROUND TWO!?

Jokun yelled as he came out of the dark, standing 10 feet tall with a 5 feet long metal mace.

I should've finished you back then Jokun! Now i get my second chance!

Hah! Bring it on!

Jokun came running, mace swinging towards the group, they were trapped, the only way to move was left right or back. The pit they were in was circular, the only way out was where Jokur originated from.

Uh... what exactly is going on here? Where do the rest of us come in? The only one doing anything of interest is Jothren, and he's the DM's character. Did I not get the PM about a usergroup with all the OOC chat or something?

I have to agree with Debatra. I feel more like a secondary character in Jothren's story.

OH well. Either make the series more accessible to everyone, or I'm out.

For one; we've all been together since we left the elf king.
Second; we're still all together, and i just threw in a boss fight for us all.

I'm sorry if it feels like im going too fast, i will slow things down a bit for you then.
