Meh, tbh I'm kind of worn out on those "blabla your brain" discussions. They came up with this point that "we only use 10% of our brain capacity" sometime ago. It's bullshit, but look what happened, everybody considers it truth. Good old example of how format and keeping back the right information can influence people.

Illustrerad Vetenskap is a scientific paper with focus on entertainment. That's why the word "illustrated" is there. They don't speak bullshit based on my nerdy experiences in the school library, but you can count on them using a subtly sensationalist wording along with huge pictures.

um this sounds like utter bs, its a hell of alot more complicated than the left and right side of your brain (im studying first year psychology and even i know this) for christ sake, at least give us the proper results instead of the whole dumbed down version (which parts specifically were activated, and were they different in different men ect.....) which makes me question the integraty of the reasearch done in the first place (not directed at the poster but reasearchers).

Are you talking about synapse activity? If i remember correctly that only means a small part of our brains are active at the same time, not that we have the capacity to be ten times smarter as some interpreted it.
