Depressed Grandmother Cheers Up After Becoming Superhero

Frederika was born in Hungary twenty years before World War II. She made it through the horrors of the war when it eventually came around, at one point having been forced to leave her country or face death. Sacha reveals that his grandmother no longer shows signs of depression, and she even has thousands of friends on MySpace. The tale of Frederika and her grandson is heartwarming, and additionally awesome at the same time.

Quite possibly one of the most off the wall yet heartwarming stories I've read recently. Makes me wonder how my 90 year old grandmother would react to such a thing.

Wow. That rocks.
This is the kind of thing that the news is for. Heartwarming and invigorating stories that restore my faith in humanity, not obliterate it.

Believe you me, I would not fuck with anyone rocking a ray gun like she does in that picture. Great story. Sasha Goldberger, you are awesome!

Although I find the images a bit creepy (it's still cool) but her grandchild kindess for doing that to get her out of depression greatly supass the creepyness.

I'd say that makes her far more a superheroine than spandex.

Thank you for bringing me this news item.

the pics where tastefull, albeit funny, but not making fun of her, only of the "supper hero" she looks lively and happy to pose

i think i would really like to know this woman, just because she seems to be the most awesome person that has ever lived
