Oh, for the love of God. Is there absolutely any chance the professionals on this site could leave the poor film alone? I loved that film. It was awesome. For the sake of everything, stop kicking it!
I just want you know that you are a horrible person. :p
I'm not really sure how to take that. Enjoying Transformers makes me an immoral person?

I understand the idea that certain media are not for different tastes. I suppose Kane and Lynch was never in my taste because I wasn't too thrilled to play a game based the two middle-aged, creepy guys sharing a bottle of scotch behind a strip club.

No matter how impressive the story is, if the gameplay absolutely fails, then as a game, that's just not good.

The game is boring and short. And multiplayer is also boring. Every shootout is the same, it gets old after half an our. It's maybe a good thing that the game doesn't last long because it was a pain in the ass to play it's 4 hour campaign. Story is shallow and I didn't care for it at all. Playing as Lynch wasn't as fun as it should be. In the first game it was all about Kane. It was his story and he was the main character. And in this game it's again all about Kane and his deal. Well, it certainly felt like it was more about him. And Lynch was the guy you play as. So that was another big fail.
Nono - you just don't get it apparently :\

I think everyone should play it for themselves and find out. I'm getting tired of people saying they didn't play a game because it got crap reviews, or everyone buying a game because it got great reviews (Halo Reach, MW2). PLay the game. If you like it, you do. If not, you don't. Do we really need some OTHER guy who hardly sees the sun and naked women to tell us what HIS oppinion is but make it sound more like fact?

When i played the demo, i felt it was too much stressful on multiplayer... while on singleplayer i was amazed of the amount of "colateral damage" you were allowed to do with a twisted "mind-moment" as i would call it...

How is it that what he said was pretentious or childish? You honestly expect him to shit all over his game? The games is going to be good for some, and it's going to be bad for others. Isn't that the gist of what he said? Not evrybody will get it in the sense that the game won't have the same appeal for everybody.

Sure is butthurt. Remember, my two cents here. Nothing more, nothing less.

I literally was sick from the single player and MP demo. Not because it's gritty or violent. but because i got literally fucking sick, to the point i had to lay down. It made me dizzy and gave me a headache. The camera is bad. The lighting is bad. the textures are bad. the audio is bad. They are constantly screaming. I felt horrible while playing.

English is not the guy's first language, so I believe he could easily be forgiven, for not getting any intended simple "taste differs" message across correctly.
"Don't get it" does suggest the speaker thinks there's something wrong with YOU, if you don't like the product, but the following line adds context, softening the rather poor choice of words somewhat.

I personally find the Stalker series to be great. Others find it obtuse, buggy, and nigh unplayable with an akward combat system and incomprehensible story.

The guy has a point : to each their own, and just because you didn't like it doesn't mean everybody should see it the same way.
Right, some like killing jews, some like stoning women, some enjoy raping children, and some just live honest lives not hurting anyone. Who are we to say one thing is better than the other?
That is the most asinine comparison I've ever read. I feel dumber.

Let's go ahead and preface the entire thing with WHEN TALKING ABOUT VIDEO GAMES...
And this quotebox contains a nice projection sandwich. I love idiots, they make me feel smart.

Played it, highly disliked it. The game mechanics were decent, not good but decent enough to roll with it. What really annoyed the shit out of me was the fact that the cutscenes jumped around so much. A few seconds of cutscene, cut to black, another few seconds, cut to black, another few seconds, cut to black over and over again. Made it a bit difficult for me to follow what the hell was happening.

Also had a few points deducted for censorship. I can understand it being part of the art style, I still hate censorship with a burning passion.

I really enjoyed the first game for what it offered and thought this one was an improvement. It's really short, but anything more than that and it would have become too tedious to play. It's literally fight after fight with no breaks apart from loading screens and a few cut-scenes. The ending may annoy some people, but i thought it fitted in nicely. Now if we could have Hitman back that would be lovely.

Yeah yeah, now stop buggering about with K&L, IO Interactive, and make the next bloody Hitman game already!

The thing is, mixed reviews is what the first game got too. (Indeed, judging by Metacritic, the sequel got slightly worse reviews) Honestly? Shut up and hand the series over to someone else, who's prepared to do more than cover-based shooting.

I concur with this sentiment.

Yes. You're clearly evil. More so if you enjoyed Transformers 2.

"we have critics that really loved it and those that didn't really get it."
This really grates on me with a rusty, steel cheese grater that's been dipped in a delicate combination of shit, vitriol and TCP.

Trying to pass off people saying a game is crap as them just not "getting it" is arrogant at worst and delusional at best. OK so I can understand the makers of the game not wanting to stand up and admit their game is an utter turkey - I wouldn't - but passing off bad reviews as a misunderstanding is going to screw your future prospects right up the bum-trumpet. If you can't acknowledge your mistakes then how will you ever learn from them?
