This honestly, is my pick of the year.
:/ its possibly the most memorible game ive played all year. ((next to Dead raising 2))
With the halos, i cant tell where the story begins, and where it ends.
Ive played and beaten them all half a dozen times, and i cant remember anything in perticular that stood out. ((other then the horrible, downward spiral the story began to follow))

With Kayne and Lynch 2, i remember every detail. Every gritty scene.
I got it. And because i got it, i loved it.

While it may sound "chilidish" or " pompous and pretentious" to say "You just dont get it", ITS TRUE!

I got it. I saw where they were going. Sure, the ending sucked hard, but thats the only honest gripe i have about the game. And even then, i can see what they did with it. No happy ending. No sad ending. Just an ending. Cut, print, edit. So that the next game ((which i seriously hope is made)) has a good, easy referance point to start off on.

Is different. And different is eather loved or hated.

Halo Reach: A copy paste of Halo ODST with nicer graphics and retexured guns. It wasnt different in any respect. It felt like i was playing a DLC for halo 3. And i hate that. I hate it alot. The only big differance is that the game mode select and "Match making" ((if you can call it that)) are completely broken.

I would give Halo reach a 2/10. I wouldent buy it. If you offered it to me, i wouldent accept it. If you taped it to my arm, i would rip my arm off, and beat you with it until you removed the game for me, so i wouldent have to touch it.

Kayne and Lynch 2, i would give a 7/10. It wasnt perfict, but nothing is. But its better then the re-used, over-done, wannabe space marines known as "spartans".

THIS IS NOT SPARTA!! (Throws Halo Reach into a bottomless pit)
Wait. I'm confused. It's by your own admission, according to your rating, an average game, but it's the game of the year because... it's not Halo: Reach?

...um... well, whatever grading criteria works for you, I guess. [hesitant and confused thumbs up?]

Lol. I thought someone would eventually post back confussed.

What i mean is there are games like kayne and lynch 2. A very original game. Its different, and people hated that about it.

And then there are games like Halo reach. Which is basically just a copy paste version of halo 3 with a broken matchmaking. Its the exact same thing as before. There is almost nothing different about it. And thats what I personally hate about it. Its more halo 3. everything they did could have been a DLC and no one would have been able to tell the differance.

But then games like Halo Reach get 9/10s or 10/10s for being hugeass franchise. They didnt highlight the broken matchmaking, poor weapon designs, terribly cleche single play campaign and copy-pasted "Figher Fight" mode, which was clearly ripped off from Gears of War 2. They didnt talk about how some objects are horribly rendered ((such as Jorge's Minigun)) and how the vehicals are all but pointless now.

But Kayne and Lynch 2 was completely original. Even the basic camera and loading screens are leagues different from any other 3rd person game. The guns dont handle perfictly ((like they dont in real life)) and you cant just sprint around all you like without getting destroyed. It was a great game. But it was different. And many people hated it. It got ratings eather 1-3/10 or 8-9/10.

Its litterally a game you eather get, or dont get. If you dont get it, you wont enjoy it a single bit. If you do get it, its in the running for your game of the year. They tryed something different, and they were bashed beyond compaire for it.

Ah, but see, he had Dead Rising 2 down as memorable. There's the problem, right there. The man is clearly colourblind.
