Wasn't this exact footage shown 20 times already, well perhaps missing the corny chat but still.

It is very clearly Halo gone apocalyptic MMO, except they dropped their halfway decent guns for some odd reason and went to CoD for inspiration.

So can anyone tell me if this game is exclusively a multiplayer type deal? Because I'm very much a single player type of person. I just don't like playing with others unless it's like...fruit ninja or mario party so if this has to be played with multiple people, I guess I'm S.O.L. cause not only do I not like it, I literally have no one else in my life that could play with me.

It requires you be online. As for single player... its a pretty casual MMO-like experience from what I've gathered. I'm like you, I don't have many friends that like shooters let alone one that isn't CoD or Battlefield. I don't think you are S.O.L> necessarily. All the Halo games had a strong single player campaign, so I think this will have something similar and the content is supposed to be updated regularly.

Things could change from here til next year when its released, late spring early summer I'm guessing.

This video might help answer some questions, the single player questions are addressed at the very beginning.
