Dear Lord, I'm surprised Yahtzee is getting so much love from these game companies. I mean... it's Australia. Not known to be lovers of M-rated games.

Kudos, you British-cum-Aussie vitriol pump.

Anyway putting my mature hat back on, it seems that his bar seems to be gaining popularity. I would love to go and visit it but I lack the flying skills or money to get there.

I NEVER KNEW YAHTZEE WAS THIS POPULAR!
What he said, it appears he is quite the celebrity.

Also i'm curious how much candid criticism he will give them. If they received it before releasing the game it might be of some use.
Seems so, who knows, maybe he'll soon start a yahtzicon to replace e3

Well, he did essentially get two major studios to bow to his slightly sadistic personality [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/articles/view/columns/extra-punctuation/6228-Yahtzees-Prototype-vs-InFamous-Challenge].

Plus, I wonder if they'll realize that this kind of stuff will probably only make him rip into the games harder?

The original Deus Ex sits comfortably in between Silent Hill 2 and Portal on my list of best games ever made, so I'm quite happy about this installment. But really, why would anybody want to show off a new product AT A FUCKING BAR? I don't care who owns it, a bar is not a place where one shows off any new products that do not involve alcohol and/or its consumption in some way. Or maybe I'm just jealous because an Aussie twat gets to host a game I've been looking forward to for quite a while...

Huh.

Maybe I should start being a massive prick, it seems to have done Yahtzee well.

Dang it, I'm stuck here in Canada. Oh well, I can dream about visiting the Mana Bar someday...

Also this is a pretty impressive event for the bar. I predict this will bring Yahtzee and friends some more money. Maybe he'll buy more hats!

Wait, a game by Square is having Yahtzee host it? I know he liked Deus Ex, but still, I feel there's a bit of irony here.
This is exactly what I was thinking. Square Enix is a really good sport I guess...

Good. Considering Yahtzee is well-versed in terms of complex FPS games, he will be able to provide valuable feedback.

Wow. This is ironical on so many levels. I hope he tells us a bit about it in the next EP.

I don't think Yahtzee is going to be particularly hostile toward the game at a PR event. Most likely he's just going to be MCing the game and the demos will be played by actual PR guys (or patrons, if they make it playable).

Well done Yug, Yahtz and co. The more of these exclusive events the Mana Bar gets, the more popular it will be, and the more popular it gets, the more likely it is to expand into other places. And that is good for everybody.
