Before the beta I was really not super convince and now after playing several hours of D2 in the open beta, I am really not at all convinced.
Yes, I am having fun, but there so many little flaw (that quite irks me) that Old D2 had that they didnt really "fixed" and a lot of them are quality of life stuff, also other than visually there nothing more, its just the same game with very little tweak, I dont think I will buy the game.
There many things that could have changed a bit but mechanically it is the same.
Here a small list of my personal quality of life/upgrade they could have easily added
- Stamina, just basically remove it, serve no real purpose other than being dumb
- Scrolls, keys and such should not need to take inventory space, I dont see the need to not just have a town portal similar to how it was in D3, having a tome taking 2 slot doesnt really add anything, same for keys.
- Removing pointless affixes, +1 light radius!
+ belt with more than 4 slots, that just a personal idea, but would have been great idea
anyway, really cute nostalgia trip, but nothing else
