Did I mention that I hate the Snuggie?

If not, then I hate it. Why? Well I'll tell you. What practical use does it have? It keeps you warm? If you want to keep warm, there are plenty of other ways of doing so. It's like a blanket with sleeves? Why the hell would you need to even have a blanket with sleeves? Not to mention, blankets (unless you're laying down) are rendered almost completely useless because your back is still cold. The aforementioned sleeves on it look like they're way too big and it also looks like you're wearing it backwards!

You know, there's actually a much more practical and much more prestigious set of attire that was actually made before the snuggie. You know what that is? A robe! It not only has sleeves that look like they were made for a regular human, but it also has a tie! You see, the snuggie, when worn like a robe doesn't work. For some reason the fabric is always too tight for me and I always have to struggle to get it to wrap around like a robe, and when I get it to where it does wrap around, it always comes undone.

You see, the robe, on the other hand, is made in such a way where one side goes over and the other side goes underneath. What the tie does it that it keep the two sides from coming undone and makes it so you are in a nice warm little cocoon with sleeves, and by my calculations a cocoon with sleeves is a heck of a lot better than a wimpy blanket with sleeves.

I made my own snuggie, I took my robe, removed the sash, and turned it around. Yay! I succeeded in making a robe that is far harder to actually keep on you and makes you look like a tool at the same time!

My Street Figher IV snuggie (or snuggie knock-off) has ties on it, like a robe. I use it frequently when I'm playing games. It is the ultimate sleeveblanket.

I love my Snuggie. It's warm. And convenient. And when I had the flu and some major chills from my fever, it kept all of me warm while still allowing me to read books and study. A plain old blanket would have forced me to have my arms bare. (Er, relatively bare, considering I was wearing three sweatshirts layered on top of each other.) I originally got it as a joke gift, too. Got my use out of it!
