Did South Park predict the death of Osama Bin Laden??

Last night, the same day Osama was decleared dead the South Park episode "It's a Jersey Thing" aired in Australia and a couple other countries.In short the episode involved America being taken over by New Jersey and South Park tries to fight them off, with no help from other countries South Park turns to Al Quada for help. When the battle looks lost Al Queda shows up under the lead of Osama and drive the New Jerseyans back to where they came from. Right at the end though they are throwing a victory celebration to thank Al Queda and present Osama with a medal. The minute he's given the medal an US marine absails down the roof and shoots Osama. After a brief silence Randy excliams rather casually "We got him" and the show ends.

I'm not a huge conspiracy person and all that jazz but that has got to be one of the greatest coincidences in the history of man. It's almost as if at the last second the creators of South Park edited it in but no, I checked the synopsis and it was original......is South Park psychic?

Oh well, just thought I'd throw that out for discussion, what do you think? Pretty creepy right?

The show was meant to take extreme levels of piss out of everything. Just because a coincidence is there isnt a reason to break out your tin hat.

As for Osama's death, i knew he would get his come-uppings eventually, it was just a matter of the US picking up enough brains to do the job properly for once.

Does it? You're free to disagree, but I'd wager that of all the coincidences in human history it's hardly one of the greatest. It's more like one of the lesser or more mediocre coincidences in the history of man.

btw that episode is from the last season of south park (season 14) and they have killed him
twice in the show
any way the most recent sp episode was about the ipad but i cant wait for this weeks one now

How is them showing Osama being dead quite some time before it even looked like we were going to find him any time soon? He's considered quite the enemy of the States, of course they'd show him being killed.

It was a new episode in Australia and I agree with your hopes that they make a follow up, I imagine it will involve aliens and magic.

He's human, and therefore was gonna die at some point.

Just because South Park mentioned his death does not make them psychic.

As for the timing, clearly a coincidence... unless for some reason the US government lets Trey Parker look at their military itinerary in enough time that he could write and produce an episode of South Park about it.

Oddly enough I watched this ep for the first time a few days ago, and last night before the announcement I was looking at World Trade Centers people made in Minecraft.

We can't chalk it up to anything but coincidence, but when you think about it that's all miracles are. Random coincidences.
