I dunno, but does the gun animations feel very stiff and un-life-like to you guys? Can't stand them, totally ruins the experience.

There has never ever been WWII FPS made that has ever been about, or that includes, dinosaurs ever. Not ever, no sir. [http://www.kongregate.com/games/magnussen81/1916-der-unbekannte-krieg]
That game is SCARY. You'd think a WW1 game about dinosaurs would be stupid. Apparently not when done correctly.
Of course, the article may still be right, since this was a WW ONE game with dinosaurs. Semantics, and all that.

Interesting game premise, makes me kind of wish someone would actually pick up a liscense for "Wierd World War II" the old d20 RPG.

Still, the premise is interesting, though I tend to agree that if they are going to give the Nazis wierd stuff, they should give equally wierd stuff to the allies. Of course they might have as I haven't checked out the classes yet.

Not much of a FPS fan, but I have to admit this does sound neat.

I played it as a mod several months ago, and it wasn't very good...

It looks like it's improved a lot since then though.

But that doesn't matter. They aren't lizards. They are more closely related to birds.

I normally like over-the-top, mental games like this.

But this just fails to even remotely pique my interest for reasons I can't explain...
Due to lack of zombies perhaps? I'm sure that will come with a later DLC pack.

Sounds fairly interesting to me, but I'll be looking at alot of gameplay videos before I go near this.

Hate to break it to you, but WW2 started in 1939.

So it's Day of Defeat: Source only the Axis has 3 dinosaur types instead... colour me unimpressed here. DoD: Source was/is a mediocre team based WWII FPS, adding dinosaurs does not automatically make this game any better :/

(Just as a disclaimer I've not played it yet, just seen the footage, however the trailers just don't look that great to me so I doubt I ever will.)

Watched some videos of it, looks less exciting than watching paint dry while crushing your balls with a nut cracker...

I really miss free mods for games. I have fond memories of mods such as Team Fortress, Poke646, They Hunger, Afraid of Monsters, DoD, Black Ops for Quake, Soldier of Fortune for Quake 2. More power to people that get hired to make games, but it seems like the mod community really started with Doom/Build, then blossomed with Quake engine games (Quake, Half-Life, Quake 2, Quake 3) and the Unreal engine. But now it seems it's pretty much died out, there's still modders for Morrowind and Oblivion, but most games don't really have a mod scene. I can't recall the last time I saw a decent mod released for Half-Life 2, when back in the period between 2000 and 2004 a new mod was coming out for Half-Life every week.
The main reason there aren't many living free mods out there is that free mods tend to disappear because that's what happens to free games. Take Hidden: Source. It's a great game that is kinda creepy, and one of the best fps multiplayers out there. Because you need Steam amd Half-Life 2, (in some way like CS:S. TF2 etc.) but Steam doesn't sell the game so no-one really knows anything about it, except the selected few who loves it. Since this game is for multiplayer only it gets boring when the servers are empty, so more and more quit to play, and less start to play when the popularity goes down. If it had been sold for $10 on Steam more would have known about, more would have played it. Also I don't think it's a bad thing that aspiring new game makers get money from their hard work.

1. $20 for an HL2 mod? Wow.

2. $20 for an HL2 mod where the dinosaurs use ripped headcrab sounds? Additional wow.

Okay, it's $18. Steam doesn't understand how currency works, so it costs 18 euros here (roughly $25).
I'm seeing it for 20? but even at the $ price that's too much for what's on offer. Monday Night Combat is 15$ (12?) and this looks much less polished.

That's AWESOME, the only thing they forgot is that the T-Rex should have laser eyes.
