They really love it that much. I made a thread about the trend a week or so ago, because they keep popping up over and over. And I didn't understand the exclusivity of it. Nobody seems to link other various types of mashups, it's all just disney princess ones.JoJo said:Yeah, to be honest without the description provided I would have no idea whichPrincessheroine each is meant to be based on. But anyway, is there some sort of staff joke I'm not getting or do you all really love Disney Princess Mashups this much?
I don't care that it exists, I just puzzle at the 100% disney princess thing of it. I mean if the site did a regular "Pop culture stuff mashups!" and they varied it up between different things, cool. But with it being disney princess over and over, it's sort of wearing thin on the novelty and interest aspect to me.Lightknight said:Heroines? Disney Female Characters more like it.
I don't know why you guys particularly care about this existing. I love seeing the artwork and appreciate it as a recurring theme.
Oh man, yeah, more mashups with more diverse combinations would be great. Disney Princes too would be cool.Happyninja42 said:They really love it that much. Which is fine I guess, but I'd like to see other stuff really. The disney princess thing is getting a little boring now to be honest.

And yeah, the last few were hard to tell who was who. The WoW related one, while nice work, I had no clue who most of the princesses were supposed to be. The pop culture one is the same.
But yeah, something new would be nice.
Heroines would imply that they were actually heroes which isn't the case.VanQ said:Hey guys! You know how you keep asking us to stop cluttering the news section with Disney Princess fan art? Well screw you too! Have some DisneyPrincessesHeroines!
I'm sick to death of these motherfucking princesses in this motherfucking news section!
Just post this stuff in the Off Topic section. It belongs there.
Hey man, take that up with the thread OP. He was the one that used that word first. Hell, looking at the artwork, I could only tell who 2 of the girls even were. Either they're really obscure Disney characters or the artist didn't do a good job of presenting the characters.Lightknight said:Heroines would imply that they were actually heroes which isn't the case.
Actually they did a monster related mashup a few months ago. Was pretty cool. Had one as an Oni, and a Naga if I recall correctly. And various other freaky monster/scary type princesses.McMarbles said:Good news! We're going into October, so you can look forward to getting saturated with zombie everything instead (because, apparently, no other monsters exist now).Dr. Crawver said:I think we're all starting to get over-saturated with these Disney princess mashups. I mean I still enjoy them, but can we please have a month where we don't have one? Maybe? Just an idea.
Wasn't disagreeing with you. Just discussing it alongside you.VanQ said:Hey man, take that up with the thread OP. He was the one that used that word first. Nonononono, we need one last before we finally put this crap out of its misery8bitOwl said:Please someone explain to me what is it with the Internet's obsession for "Disney heroines as [insert other pop-culture characters]".
Disney heroines as Star Wars characters.
Disney heroines as videogame characters.
Disney heroines as pop culture icons.
Disney heroines as...
I MEAN STAHP PLS.
That's hilarious.Sizzle Montyjing said:snip
