Do you follow any Forum RP's?

So, after browsing through the RP Digest topic that's been stickied in the Forum RP and Games section, someone raised an intersting point. They could now use this (The RP Digest) to follow their favourite RP's, instead of reading through sixty pages of writing.

So, after being asked by around twenty people if they can join my RP, it got me wondering. Do any of you follow any RP's on the Escapist? And if so, which ones?

I would really like to start following or participating in RPs, but I just don't think I have the time for it. I'm not saying it's like a second job or anything... I just get sidetracked EXTREMELY easily.

Seriously.
Some of them are... strange.

I mean, I'm probally being a bit of a hypocrite considering it's a Forum Roleplaying section, but, well. A few male members decide to be female characters. That's okay, it's just when they start making out with the other members of the RP. THAT'S the weird bit.

lol, what? why?
Have you ever seen a serious RPer get angry when they think you're "doing it wrong"? It's a terrifying sight to behold, let me tell you.

I don't like forum RPs, but on other sites I had dabbled a bit. I prefer NWN for RPing. Really it is the order of events that bother me, as in, since its posts and not action by action like the visual NWN RP servers where I dont have to wait for you to finish a whole essay worth of actions to punch you in the face (if so inclined)

You shouldn't be. They may seem scary, but really we're (they're?) more huggable than a giant marhsmallow which never gets sticky.

Nothing wrong with a little bit of gender play as long as it's done well.

Nope! I spend enough of my time in the various games. I don't think getting involved in an RP would do anything good for my tiny social life...

I have enough trouble keeping up with my one RP, but that's sort of my fault for making it so gosh darn popular.

I'm in an RP, but that's just because a friend of mine, outside the escapist, started it.

Nope. Avoid them like the plague.
I've seen online roleplay before, and it's creepy as shit.
Depends on the RP. Although it's completely overplayed, zombie RP's are actually hilarious. Comedy ones work good too.

The thing that seems to put most people off RP's is the fact that there is alot of interaction between characters. Wether than involves some form of romance, or a outplayed fight scene, people look at it and just get confused.

I love Roleplaying, if you only do one at a time its not very time consuming. You just check it once or twice everyday, make a quick post, and if you stay active you don't have to read all the other members posts over and over again.
