Doesn't matter what I'm doing i have to know what time it is, regularly. And, for instance If I'm trying to sleep and I think to myself "i wonder what time it is" I wont be able to sleep until I look over at the clock.

I'm rather obsessed with eyes. The colors, varients, everything. I could fall in love with a person just because of their eyes, and hate them for the same reason. And I really get irked when someone with naturally dark eyes is forced to wear blue contacts. It's never gonna look right!

I have a similar obession, in that not having my watch makes puts me in an extremely stressful mood.I do check my watch very often when I have it (I always like to know what time it is), but not having my watch makes it worse for some reason.

my obsessions come and go, usually lasting about a month, before my attention starts to turn towards something else.

That is me exactly. It is a great way to live, although I often do not want to 'get into' an obsession because I feel as though I will not be able to become an expert on it quick enough (I like to become an expert on my various obsessions, you see).

Do you go 'on' and 'off' different types of foods very quickly? I will go through a pitta bread and houmous phase, say, and eat nothing but that (well, not literally, but you understand what I mean) for a month or three, and then suddenly BAM I do not even bloody like it anymore. I am currently in a bolognese phase.

actually yes, yes i do. i will flicker at about the same time as my obsession changes as to what i enjoy eating. i am already limited in what i eat by an allergy though, so it tends to be repeats of what i previously enjoyed eating.

i do tend to lack control over what my next obsession will be though. i am generally reasonably good at the interest before i start it, and even if i'm not, it consumes me quite heavily, so i am generally pretty strong at it by the time i finish with it.

Let's see...I also have a bunch of other OCDs to a certain degree, like the door closing thing and sometimes I just have to have everything around me symmetrical or I get annoyed...There's more, but i can't really remember them ATM

I have two strange obsessions (I'm also obsessed with Batman, but I don't consider that strange since Batman is AWESOME). The first is caramel cake. I adore it. This might not sound that strange, but I don't think most people start drooling around it and start talking to it strangely e.g. "oh you delectible little thing, just look at your smooth, creamy topping and those tasty little sprinkles" and then describe is as a 'taste orgasm'.

I do. Around other people. It scares me sometimes, while other times I just don't care anymore.

My second obsession is with older women. I have been attracted to older women for as long as I can remember, though I only realised it when I was 14. What's so strange is the degree of my obsession. When it comes to women, I don't really give a damn about their looks, interests, intelect or anything like that. People have told me that I can become attracted to any woman on the planet as long as she didn't try to kill me too often. But even when I come across those rare girls who do intrest me the first thing I want to know is her age. Where most guys look at breasts, I look for signs of her age. When most guys would ask if she were single, I'd want to know her DOB. There have even been some cases where I've been intrested in girls only to immediatly lose all attraction when I've found out they're younger than me. I was well known in high school for being the guy with low standards in women, yet I find it impossible to be interested in any girl who isn't at least 24 hours older.
This even extends to my hobbies. I'd hear about video games, books, comics, anime, manga, films, T.V. shows and plays and one of the things I'd want to know is if an older woman was involved. There have even been times that I buy a book or watch a show simply because it has on older woman in the romantic plot. My interests are not limited to things involving older women, but sometimes I wonder...would I still have as many books if they had younger women? Would my favourite books, anime and manga still be the same if the men weren't younger?
People just say I'm weird. I agree. I just want to know if there are anyone else with obsessions as weird as mine.

So what I wanted to ask was: do you have any or know anyone with strange obsessions and, if so, what are they?

The part about older women. Older women are awesome. I've always been attracted to women who are at least 10 years older than me.
