It's a shame I found out about this only this late, but even more am I saddened that this was offered only to North Americans (or was it later corrected for all? I didn't read all the pages thoroughly). There's bound to be more genius in criticism inside Europe and Australia. Why not in Asia too!

Format differences, and it's *very* expensive to ship overseas.

I am very saddened that I didn't get the position, but that just means I'll be expecting big things from the ones who did get it. I know it's probably going to be a while before we get to see any "new" reviews, as these guys still need to recieve the anime, then watch them, then review them, but is there any projected date on when they will start appearing? Since so many people expressed interest in reading the winning entries, it might be nice to print those while we wait as a sort of teaser of what we are in for. I'm going to keep my eyes peeled for more positions like this too.

I really do like anime, but only those that are consistently good. A lot of anime is rubbish, but the ones like Fullmetal Alchemist or Death Note are incredible.

I'd love to write for the escapist, but I know it's probably too late to secure that position. I've even got some good reviews I've written on games, and an award for one of them. Sure, it's only third place in the state, but it's still worth bragging about.
