I love 4X games and I was wondering what are some good 4X games to play? I already know about Free Orion and I hear that Imperium Galacica is also free as well. What are some other good 4X games that are free to play?

I don't know about good really, since most free games are alpha/beta/open-source/in development so I'll just list what I found and let you decide. ,)

Either they take on too much or their interest wanes or is transferred to something else.
It might yet make an appearance but I wouldn't count on it.
I must admit that I haven't really tried any of those listed.
I bide my time waiting for Predestination, M.O.R.E, Endless Space 2 & Stellaris with some Space Empires IV, Sword of the Stars, MoO III, Armada 2526 supernova & Distant Worlds Universe.
It depends on my mood and when the games inevitable flaw(s) becomes too much for me. ,)
