I like it here in Coastal NC because if in the rare event that it does snow, it usually only last a day before it melts. Just enough time to get your fill of snow men and sledding.

You pansy brits! Here in Canada, Calgary especially, Snow is a fact of life 6 sometimes 8 months of the year! Hell, sometimes it's a fact of like all 12 Months! So you at least need to make peace with snow, that or go crazy. I think most people actually opt for go crazy. Myself, I wouldn't care so much about snow if it wasn't accompanied by vicious cold.

We practically NEVER get snow here, so I would welcome it. In fact, I don't I've ever seen a single inch of snow, so yeah...

I like snow (living at the bottom of the Alps would be a problem otherwise), but I sure hate ice (considering I managed to fall on my ass at the office too many times because of wet floors, icy walkways are my nemesis).

Personally I find it's the wind I hate more in the winter, or just in general.

I'd very much love to see a God of War style murder-beat-em-up in which you go on a crusade to kill every major deity of wind ever for being so incredibly fucking annoying with their power. You go to walk somewhere and the cold isn't too bad until suddenly, woosh, you've now got a freezing chill in your face with the uncanny ability to redirect itself to usually be blowing right into your face, regardless of your direction of travel.

As for snow. The snow itself is no issue usually, but as everyone above has said, yeah, the details about said snow (lots, wet, slush, shoveling, slippery, travel-impeding, etc) as the problem. I'd say move somewhere South to avoid it but stepping out of my own shoes I don't think I'd want to move just for that...or down into the American bible belt...ever...or just to avoid some snow.

I'd buy that :-D

Nope, still pretty. I do hate the cold, but I can enjoy the nice view from behind my window anyway.

Thing is though, I don't actually do anything in the snow. I don't go outside, I don't have anyone to make (hilarious) snowmen with or have a snowball fight with. It's a shame, because snow can be tons and tons of fun. That's not even mentioning skiing/snowboarding.

Snow is the best weather there is, why is it as soon as people gain the ability to drive or near the age when you can they have some sort of weird reaction and start hating the lovely snow.
It really strikes me that Canada the best place on earth deals with snow almost all year round and is fine but a few days of it in England and people cant stop moaning like someone has just pissed in their tea. So my answer is i love snow.

Now, I'm not a cynical bastard, but this snow has taken it to far.

Myself, usually I love snow, you get snowmen and snowball fights and no college/school/work, it's all fun and games for a few days. I can't stand it anymore though, not only is it's good cousin ice trying to break my pelvis everytime I walk down the street, it also means there's no football on and my band can't practice, which we need to what with recording and gigs coming up. I'd compromise with the snow, if we could have football but no band practice it'd be all cool, but this snow is relentless, it means buisness.

So, who else has grown tired of walking, and then falling on their ass, in a winter wonderland?
I live with it like 5-6 months every year, I think it's safe to say I am starting to get tired of it..also snow covered up ice about 4 years ago and I fell and broke my arm...so you won't get any snow love from me.

It's got me out of school 2 days in a row so that's pretty cool. But the actual snow was never really anything special. I live in Tennessee, so when it snows it's more like ice and there's never enough to do anything in. It's just cold and I hate the cold weather.

I don't mind it, although I hate driving in it mostly because of the other drivers who don't know to adjust their driving for the weather conditions, morons.

Edit: You people who're complaining about the snow are all weak!!

Shoveling snow is better than lawn-mowing or leaf-raking in my opinion.I live in Ohio so leaf-raking absolutely SUCKS and lawn-mowing isn't much better.

I wish it would die, or at least give me one more snow day before I go back to school. It's the least it could do for freezing off my fingers, feet and testicles.
